“Living” Dress Made of Recycled Tubes Changes With the Season

What do landscape architects and fashion designers have in common? Apparently, not that much. But leave it to a couple of creative minds to figure out how to combine their talents to produce some explosive results. Designed for the Amsterdam Centre for Architecture [1] (ARCAM), fashion designer Mattijs van Bergen [2] and landscape architect Anouk Vogel [3] collaborated on a crossover piece that laughs in the face of fashion trends. Using recycled bicycle inner tubes and wool, this dress’ seasonal statement isn’t brought to fruition with a new cut or adjusted seams, but with ever-changing floral arrangements [4]!
