“Living” Dress Made of Recycled Tubes Changes With the Season

What do landscape architects and fashion designers have in common? Apparently, not that much. But leave it to a couple of creative minds to figure out how to combine their talents to produce some explosive results. Designed for the Amsterdam Centre for Architecture (ARCAM), fashion designer Mattijs van Bergen and landscape architect Anouk Vogel collaborated on a crossover piece that laughs in the face of fashion trends. Using recycled bicycle inner tubes and wool, this dress’ seasonal statement isn’t brought to fruition with a new cut or adjusted seams, but with ever-changing floral arrangements!
