Pink fried chicken? We’re all for advancing breast cancer research, but it’s sickening how some corporations are playing up to the public’s desire to find a cure by turning all of their products pink this month – even ones that might cause cancer themselves! I come to Inhabitat for positive stories. I want to read about new ideas and new design.
Can we please have a lot less of these health-scare stories?
It’s one of the most lazy and populist forms of journalism; and is done in many other places. Why not focus on what makes you unique rather and special (forward looking positive stories) rather than attempting to be like other media?
Or at least maybe create a section called “Bad Design” so when I’m looking for something uplifting I can avoid it; and perhaps for those who are interested in that kind of story it can be a good campaign activist movement against bad design (which WOULD be a good thing)?
This comment is meant as a positive suggestion; more than a negative comment of course.
