This colorful display of 1,902 canoes and kayaks attempted to break the “largest raft” world record on Fourth Lake in New York’s Adirondacks this Spring. As rules stipulated it had to float freely for at least half a minute, the colossal structure was formed by participants skilfully getting close enough to hold each others hands and arms. In this photo taken from high above all you can see are the tiny details of such a huge number of canoes, almost resembling a ‘Where’s Waldo’-style iconic image.
