Superstudio Designers Shine Bright at the Milan Furniture Fair

Superstudio is always a highlight at the the Milan Fuori Salone ^[6], and this year's show was no exception. Superstudio Più ^[7] and Superstudio 13 ^[8] took to the Zona Tortona district of the the fair, showcasing an array of fascinating pieces that almost looked like they belonged in a museum. Several well-known exhibitors also made an appearance, including the likes of Foscarini ^[9], Porsche ^[10], Canon ^[11], Samsung ^[12] and LG ^[13]. This is a gorgeous bio-ethanol stove dubbed Planika ^[15] caught our attention for its monument-like form.

The ARTernative artistic chair ^[17]by Luca Gnizio ^[17] caught our eye for its innovative use of natural materials – and yes that is a small plant growing from the crack of the chair.

In the outside yard we spotted this astonishing marble sculpture made by the Istanbul Mineral Exporters Association ^[19].

The ground floor of Superstudio Più showcased many famous brands like Samsung, Canon, Welchome and Cristalplant ^[21]. Some of these booths featured spectacular eye-catching cinematic exhibitions and 3D projections, like this one by Foscarini.

Ciclotte ^[23] unveiled a line of futuristic monocycle exercise bikes.

There was also a big open space dedicated to the design simplicity of Swedish brand Inredia ^[25] and the oriental art of Thailand’s Slow Hand Design ^[26], which works with local artisans to produce stunning products.

The Superstudio Più basement showcased Nendo ^[28]‘s still and sparkling stand, which featured ingenious and simple mirrored glass flower domes and glass-blown lamps and tables ^[29].

The wooden and glass were designed by Leonardo Talarico ^[31] & Studio Mist-O ^[32].

Edoardo Colzani ^[34] unveiled a line of luminous LED clothes hangers.

Towards the end of the basement section we spotted these gorgeous colored glass lamps by Noushaz Mahini Tehrani ^[36].

Chile-based SiStudio ^[38] unveiled a fantastic set of folded origami lamps ^[39].
