Can you believe that 2012 is just a few days away? We’re gearing up to ring in the New Year with style and what better way to do that than with green technology? The Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration in New York City [4] will once again feature a brilliantly green ball that will dazzle with more than 32,000 LED lights [5]. Lighting expert Philips [6] will illuminate the iconic disco ball, bringing energy-efficient lighting to all those who watch the annual celebration.
