Although, the situations shown in Gasland should and could have been avoided, that should not stop the rest of us from benefiting from this great fuel. The solution is to police the producers, not to abandon the resource because of bad apples. You may not know that Lithium Ion battery production for electric cars is one of the most toxic and polluting things on earth and no amount of electric car use makes-up for its negative impact on the environment or your wallet (they have to be replaced).
