Energy-Generating Bed Harnesses the Rhythm of the Night

We’ve seen some pretty impressive green beds before, but this one takes the cake. Designed by Arthur Xin, the Ecotypic Bed has overhead LED reading lights, speakers to play music to wake you up, an LED lit flower box that grows greenery up the posts of the bed and much more. The best part is that the bed features a built-in battery that turns all of your in-bed activities (get your mind out of the gutter!) into energy. There are even straps and pulleys (chuckle) on the side of the bed that can be used to exercise and generate even more power.

This may be green but it’s certainly not human-friendly. You surround your body, during it’s most vulnerable time of the day, to electromagnetic fields. Green needs to be eco- and human-friendly.
