A New Twist on An Old Classic: Wooden Toy Animals by Bleebla

by , 05/13/14

The “animal box – jungle” by bleebla, a toy design company based in Portugal,  is a minimal rectangular block with 10 animals peeking out of its regular geometry. The set is smooth and warm to the touch, providing a unique sensory experience. The materials are agglomerated cork and sycamore wood from sustainably managed forest sources, and both are biodegradable, renewable and recyclable. These toys are ideal for for small children, and those enrolled in Waldorf schools where emphasis is on natural, organic toys and imaginative play.
