These beautiful, multi-colored lamps are made from repurposed local bottles and glasses. Although we’ve have seen similar lamp concepts several times before, we like the simple yet romantic approach of adding some lace to the outside, which gives the lamps a Victorian aesthetic.
We spotted these lamps at Taiwan’s display at this year’s DMY Berlin design show, which was held at Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport. The theme of Taiwan’s display, which was curated by OU Studio, was promoting “farmer’s creativity,” and aside from these gorgeous lamps, it was full of objects made from paper, rice straw and recycled materials. The lamp concept looks like a relatively easy, useful design you could make at home.
