I support the entire project except for the raising of tilapia which is simply another form of factory farming, stressed animals living in artificial conditions whose lives end brutally. The vertical farm is a great model for the future; however, if that future still involves the sacrifice of sentient beings, then we're not there yet. Please consider, 1) http://www.peta.org/issues/animals-used-for-food/fish-feel-pain.aspx, and 2) http://www.mfablog.org/2012/08/new-study-reports-toll-on-factory-farmed-fish.html.

I find the idea of vertical farms, in in this case more correctly an in-building farm fascinating.

It will be very interesting to see what sort of food to inputs ration they can maintain over the long term
