Gallery: Adam Frank’s Reveal Light Projects a ‘Daylit’ Window on Any Wa...

What if installing a new window to brighten up a dark interior was as simple as flicking a switch? That's the concept behind Adam Frank's Reveal Light—a tiny projector that creates the illusion of a daylit window upon any darkened wall. The projector can be placed on a shelf or mounted directly to a wall or ceiling, and it can depict a variety of softly flowing foliage—from tree branches to palm fronds.

So far we’ve showcased Adam Frank’s amazing 3D Lucid Mirror and flickering LUMEN LED nightlight displayed last weekend at BKLYN Designs, and the designer just unveiled his Reveal Projection Light in DUMBO over the weekend.

Ideal for urban apartments that lack direct sunlight, Adam Frank’s Reveal Light approximates a daylit window where before there was nothing but blank wall. Reveal comes with an ultra-white, color adjusted 50 watt MR16 halogen bulb (it is also possible to use 20, 50 or 65 watt halogen bulbs, depending on the scenic requirements) and includes the complete Windows & Views Collection of slides. Any window slide can be paired with any view slide to create 25 different combinations.

Locally handcrafted in Brooklyn, this awesome projector will gently illuminate any home using very clever, unobtrusive technology. This first edition, limited at 1000, is available now at Adam Frank’s site here.
