First, take all of the buildings and put them as close as possible to one another to minimize solar exposure and improve light. Then, design a few wind towers right into the structure to enhance natural ventilation. And, oh yes, build an overarching roof that covers the entire campus as much as possible.

All of the projects the AIA chose show remarkable achievements in the areas of community, bioclimatic design, daylighting and air quality, good use of healthy materials, and great design for adaptability, versatility, and durability. In other words, everything that you would be looking for in a kick ass green architecture project.
