Airbnb is Offering Free Housing for Victims of Hurricane Sandy

New Yorkers have been opening their homes to one another all week [1] in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, and yesterday, Mayor Bloomberg and online accommodations marketplace Airbnb announced a way to make that process safer and easier [1]. Airbnb’s new Donated Sandy Housing Directory [1] will offer a directory of places for Hurricane Sandy victims to stay for free [1]. The platform seems to be really successful as Airbnb has already seen 2,500 last-minute bookings near affected areas!
