The Annoying Orange had better beware: this crop of fruit is scary. Tsykalov is known for his provocative work with food: the series of meat sculptures he created a few years ago looks like something straight out of a Bosch painting. A number of things come to mind here: First, it’s astonishing how well some fruit can be moulded into the shape of a human head. Second, this must be what happens to fruit that doesn’t get composted: it turns evil. Third: I’m scared.
