Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis Receives LEED Gold Rating

Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland recently received a gold LEED rating from the U.S. Green Building Council. The first LEED-certified hospital in Maryland, it features a green roof composed of 24,000 plants, water-conserving, high-efficiency toilets and sinks, and pavement that doubles as a rainwater filter. The building also used recycled steel in construction.
