Inhabitat’s Green Halloween Costume Contest [2] received hundreds of incredibly crafted costumes – and after an intense bout of online voting we’re thrilled to announce our winners! From a ghastly Two-Face [3] covered in gore to a life-size LEGO minifig [4] and a hilarious bucket of cheese balls [5], our winners wowed us with their creativity and DIY [6] skill. Hit the jump for the grand prize winner of a Kilo Glow bike from Pure Fix Cycles [7], our editors’ choice Nokero Solar Light Bulb [8] winners, and our runners-up – all of whom scored organic cotton Inhabitat t-shirts [9]!

EDITORS’ CHOICE PRIZE: Real Working Camera Halloween Costume [12]

Renee Adams snapped up an editors’ choice prize with her incredibly clever working camera costume. Yes, that’s right, the camera actually takes pictures and displays them on the back like a real digital camera! To make the costume Renee simply re-fashioned a cardboard box, covered it with felt, and affixed a lightweight LCD screen connected to an iPhone to the back.

His George Washingmachine halloween costume [14] came to life with a clever set of instructions: Step 1: Go Back in time. Step 2: Steal a uniform from a Revolutionary War soldier. Step 3: Return to present day. Step 4: Fabricate a washing machine from a cardboard box using a magic marker.
