it just makes me sick how disposable cell phones are, and the like. i’ve never had one cell phone’s charger that compatible with the next. maybe there’s an actual reason to change plug shapes, but it makes me suspicious when i’ve had to pay $35 for a car charger for my new phone because my old one isn’t compatible.

I definitely hope the electronic industry goes greener, I would take preference to any gadget that is green over one that is similar and not green. It is always a good feeling to know companies are taking greater care in our world; it shows they are a company I can trust. A company that is green tells me that if they care that much about the environment they take care in their consumers as well!

I look forward to hear what the decision is!

I saw this article about the top 10 greenest cities: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?p=3225220. I never thought I would see LA in front of Seattle and San Fran. I went to the site that published the list (www.earthlab.com) and took their carbon calculator. I got a 257 which is pretty good compared to what I think other people probably get. After I complete some pledges I think it will be much lower. Check it out it only took me like 3 minutes to get my score. The website is http://www.earthlab.com.

Thanks for putting this together. I don’t know if I’ll be able to be there, but I hope you’ll have good coverage (maybe a podcast?) of the event on your site. On a side note, our blog did a nice little interview with Chris Jordan a few weeks ago.
