knowing nouvel’s work leaves no doubt of the islands end outcome-sensational. sustainability is assured in the 21st century and does not need to be a marketing tool but rather a design tool. unfortunately nouvel cannot change the cities river issues but i bet nouvel’s team makes some important river connections-physically, visually, & sensually. i look forward to the final reality

The images here are not very provocative. They make it look like a generic development. I hope it improves as the design is developed. It would also be great if sustainability was a driving force behind the development. Especially considering it could reintroduce a riparian habitat to the urban center of the city.
