In addition to the theater, the building has a cafe, a hall for functions, and administrative offices.
Set in the middle of an urban park, the covered amphitheater acts as a conduit between the city and the river as well as holding administrative offices, the theater, a cafe, and a hall available for functions. Thanks to the elongated perforated exterior, both natural light and air move freely throughout the spacious interior. And then, along with the partially-landscaped awning, various green spaces are designed to absorb runoff that might otherwise reach the river.
This is a beautiful, sophisticated, and airy rendition that pays tribute to its natural environment without completely swallowing it.
