The Kensington Residence is a 2 bedroom double story residence that was prefabricated offsite in 3 completely finished sections and environmentally engineered by GHD Australia. The tiny home measures a scant 135 square meters, and it’s an effective showcase for ARKit‘s sustainable prefabricated panelized system.

The ARKit System provides end users with a superior quality internal environment, and a beautiful external finish. Unlike most prefabricated construction companies who only use readily available products by other companies, ARKit’s panelized systems combine durable external cladding with ultra-efficient insulation and dependable structural integrity tested to extremely high tolerances.

The project’s passive performance is supplemented with proven, high-efficiency technology, and ARKit incorporated a water life cycle approach in the design of the building and selection of water systems. All materials and construction techniques were chosen based on their embodied carbon and life cycle analysis, and low-VOC finishes are used throughout the project to ensure good internal air quality for the life of the building.
