Photographer-sculptor Tieri [1] has made an art out of compressing trash into urban forms with his new series called Incompressions. The French artist handmakes each sculpture to bear signs of their previous existence as another object, further incorporating an array of new materials ranging from old spray cans, to paint brushes to rollers. All crushed and reshaped, his completed sculptures include a New York [2]subway car [3], a ghetto blaster and more abstract sculptures that take cues from modern graffiti art.
