Artist Jesse Bromm uses salvaged materials to create amazing miniature landscapes that explore the relationship between humans and the environment. Broom works with a wide array of found objects ranging from glass containers to bones and shotgun shells, and he tops his pieces with miniature figures to show the small size of humans in relation to the larger natural world.
Bromm’s dioramas explore themes of violence and control through the manipulation of animals and the environment. The landscapes are a haunting reminder of the destruction caused by humanity, and Bromm encases his works in glass containers to shed creative insight on these widespread concerns.
