Walking extremely carefully, the artist sometimes spends nine hours at a time laying down the meticulous patterned tracks. Each step must be done perfectly the first time, as the soft snow is unforgiving. When the snow is too shallow, Beck has used shovels to create less detailed patterns, yet still with incredible detail.

    Very cool designs!
    I’m assuming he would have to use a GPS to get the layout so perfect….after figuring out what design he is going to do. Maybe there’s an app for that? 😉

    This is beautiful and amazing : how can a man make such perfectly geometric schemes with a horizontal view? Does he applies giant structures ? Because this is perfect viewing from above…
