Asif Farooq’s Incredible Gun Sculptures are Created from Recycled Cardboard

At Inhabitat, we love when artists create symbolic works of art [1] using recycled materials. Here, Asif Farooq [2] constructs these incredibly precise gun replicas using only reused cardboard [3]. The gun sculptures are detailed and exact, and provide a chilling representation of the controversial machine. Farooq creates the pieces with salvaged materials and uses the works as visual metaphors to explore issues such as mass production in the industry and gun violence.
