Assembly New York’s Minimalist Womenswear Takes its Cues from Menswear

Assembly New York  debuted its minimalist new womenswear collection in an understated venue in the Lower East Side at New York Fashion Week . The Fall/Winter 2012 collection, designed Greg Armas and Claire Lampert, features simple, androgynous looks with a mix of high-waisted pants, floor-length trench coats, and simply-cut sweaters. And best of all, all of the clothes are produced right here in New York, an Assembly New York sales and projects associate tells Ecouterre .
