Green roofs and living walls are still incipient elements of the urban landscape in Monterrey, Mexico, a city with extreme temperatures (from 110°F in the summer and -30°F in the winter). This project, a 680 sq. ft green wall, designed and installed by the very proud-to-be-Mexican company Biozotea, is one of the first examples of vertical gardens in Monterrey. The system is 100% made in Monterrey, and is irrigated using only condensate water, saving more than 16,000 gallons per year.
