Scene3 is a bicycle and skateboard shop that recycles items what would normally be thrown away, into cool new accessories. Their recycling effort began when they started cutting new skateboard shapes out of customers broken boards. When they realized that they still had scraps left over from cutting, the decided they needed to do something to cut down on waste further. From that point on they’ve been transforming scraps and broken parts into everything from bottle openers to zipper pulls. Reduce, reuse and recycle isn’t just a clever slogan at their shop, it’s how they run their business.
