<p>It&#8217;s a &#8220;Goodyear, NewYear&#8221; for artisan and designer <a href="http://www.georgehollander.com">George Hollander</a>. The U.S. Virgin Islands-based artist made this incredible light sculpture for the holiday season by stacking nine tires and topping them off with a plexiglass spiked dome fashioned from half a marine bouy.  Strings of christmas lights are wrapped around the piece, and the core of the sculpture is illuminated by ten &#8220;daylight&#8221; fluorescent bulbs.</p>
