Created by Anders Stai Fougner, a 19-year old student from Oslo, Norway, these cool-looking headphones boast a rectangular shape that makes them stand out amongst the bunch of boring earbuds and conventional headphones. Dubbed Wood.Head.Phones, as the name suggests, these unique headphones are made completely out of wood and are custom handmade to suit their users. Currently, Fougner is looking for funding to bring these beauties into full production.

Marta Crass created this incredibly realistic cardboard camera without the use of any precision machining tools (like laser cutters or plotters). Measuring 6.5” x 4.5”, the replica camera is modeled after a 1960s-era Nikon camera given to Crass by her grandfather. Although it doesn’t take pictures, the beautifully crafted camera showcases the potential of recycled cardboard – and it can be yours for $150.

Seeking to produce a classic radio for the modern user, Emily Hesslegrave has designed Just Radio, a small radio with a touchscreen that is made from reclaimed natural timber wood. According to Hesslegrave, the “cabinet” design evokes historic radios. With its handcrafted finish and natural dyes, Just Radio pays homage to a time when all radios were made from natural materials. The radio also features wooden knobs on the top, purple leather trim and it has been finished  with organic wax.

PK Steel Designs creates contemporary furniture out of recycled steel, but they wanted to take the sustainability of their operation one step further. The Missouri-based company recently began using 100% recycled plastic to make tabletops and panels that are both stylish and durable. The 1-inch-thick plastic is called “Origins” and it is made from multi-colored recycled bottles, which give it its unique speckled look.
