This house, designed by D.O.C. Unlimited, was recently constructed in North Georgia using a system of precast concrete insulated panels. This material choice achieves a good balance between the benefits of pre-fab and on-site construction. The construction technique allows for an open plan with central clerestory above, almost completely minimizing the need for artificial lighting during the day.
