<p><a href="http://oato.nl/">Oato</a>&#8216;s crafty <a href="http://oato.nl/2012_Stuck_chair.html">Stuck Chair</a> takes the shape of a deconstructed archetypal <a href="http://inhabitat.com/folditures-ultra-thin-leaf-chair-folds-flat-when-not-in-use/">chair</a> that&#8217;s been rearranged anew, using tension as a bond to ensure its pieces remain &#8220;stuck&#8221; together. The seating and the legs are crafted from <a href="http://inhabitat.com/mdc-interiors-steel-and-wood-glow-table-provides-dramatic-recessed-led-lighting/">wood</a> that makes them squirm tight, and the backrest is made out of steel so the chair won’t lose its shape when outside force is applied. <a href="http://oato.nl/">Oato</a>&#8216;s chair is a research project exploring new possibilities in both construction and <a href="http://www.inhabitat.com/materials">material</a>.</p>
