“Minimum resource usage – maximum function” is the idea behind OYD Design’s FS Chair. The DIY-inspired chair is cut from a single birch plywood panel (108 x 95 cm) and can be easily assembled without the need for screws, metal parts or glue. The flat-pack design allows it to easily be shipped to its new owner, minimizing transport costs and reducing the chair’s carbon footprint.

The Izzy Juicer by OYD Design is a simple green alternative to power-hungry juicers that seem to be dominating our store shelves these days. Believing that human-power is more than plenty to get the job done, OYD Design fitted their Izzy with a traditional hand-crank that they say pulls more juice and nutrients than its electric-powered counterpart. The machine also features a flywheel and freewheel gear system that keeps the machine steady and stable, avoiding messy spills and ensuring you get a refreshing glass of juice time and time again!
