In the never-ending quest to develop better and more efficient fruit and vegetable growing techniques, Vakant Design has produced the Fogger, a vertical planting unit that can grow large quantities of food in tight spaces. The unit uses “fogponics,” which delivers water and nutrients to plant roots via fog vapor. The unit is fully automated; all users have to do is fill up the tank with water and plug it in. The self-contained system ensures that excess water and nutrients are fed back into the circulation instead of getting lost through seepage or evaporation.
