<p><a href="http://www.re-nuble.com/2012/10/re-nubles-crowdfunding-campaign-there-are-no-insignificant-acts/">Re-Nuble</a> has just launched a <a href="http://www.indiegogo.com/re-nuble">crowdfunding campaign</a> to finance its mission of greening the planet one community at a time. The DC-based company specializes in recycling<a href="http://inhabitat.com/nyc/etsy-employees-bike-their-organic-waste-to-red-hook-community-farm-on-a-custom-made-etsy-cle/"> organic waste</a> to produce green fertilizer for sustainable farming and <a href="http://inhabitat.com/australian-scientists-create-salt-based-batteries-for-affordable-renewable-energy-storage/">renewable energy</a> for responsible power consumption. In a world where 1/3 of all food gets sent to landfills to rot, Re-Nuble hopes that the $100,000 it raises will help combat today’s linear model of extraction, consumption, and waste.</p>
