Bored with your plain white walls? Check out ixxi, a new Dutch design system that allows you to make your own wallpaper or room divider in any desired size. Basically, it’s a modular connecting system comprised of cards and crosses that’s a snap to set up. The cards can be printed with your own customized photo or graphic, or you can choose from ixxi’s bank of dramatic designs. Unlike giant paintings or painting directly on a wall, ixxi murals can pack down into a tiny parcel when it’s time to move and the pieces can even be reused in different configurations.
