    Inhabitat,

I read about the contest and it really made me imagine about what the best answer could be. I believe that anybody in any place can use this bag efficiently since the sun is a universal resource. On the other hand I strongly believe that we humans tend to create necessities. In past ages who would´ve believed that a bag would be needed to keep track of the hurried life that persons have these days. Anyways, is not my intention to start a debate on how society has evolved but, to express my desire to have one of these solar powered bags.

Nowadays I live in Mexico and I am studying architecture. My projects tend to be very concerned with the environment; therefore solar cells are a constant element in them. Sadly these tend to be very expensive so are hardly used in “real” life. I consider that using alternate ways of energy should be an option to any country disregarding the economical or political factors.

With this said (aside that I live in a dessert and this bag will be very practical) the purpose of having one of these bags would be to encourage people around me to make a difference, to consciously design elements that are “eco-friendly”, to struggle to get their ideas realized, and to believe in the power of perseverance.

I appreciate the time you take to read this,
    Nat
