Designer Chen Chun-Hao and artist Huang To-En have come up with a great application for one of the most renewable resources around – bamboo ! The hinge has been specially designed and patented by Huang To-en, and given the strength of bamboo, we’re guessing these specs can take all the chewing, dropping and pocket-crushing pressure that boring plastic frames would crack under.
