For someone that eats bananas everyday, this is a really useful idea. Yes, of course bananas come in their own "natural case", but they're not coconuts! This case isn't for bringing bananas home from the market, its for people who actually carry a banana with them throughout the day or on long trips. Bananas get brown and mushy when put into a bag -- any kind of bag -- so how is this not a good idea that saves your belongings from potentially getting ruined? With the case, you can just throw the banana in your bag and not worry about constantly watching it to make sure it's on top. It's not about being lazy, it's about actually taking care of your fruit so you don't end up wasting it. I don’t see what the problem is with this post. I was surprised to see plastic packaging designed for a fruit which has already its own packaging! We just need to be careful how we carry bananas around! Squished bananas are not a problem worth solving with another injection molded product. Consumers too often justify the purchase of yet another product to make life that tiny bit easier. Just be more careful how you carry bananas with you. When did we all get so lazy? I only joined this site yesterday, but I have to say I agree with aplambeck.
