Beachaus II is a Smart LEED Platinum Home in White Rock, British Columbia

Designed to take advantage of the available light, the home maximizes privacy and views of the bay. With over 2,000 square feet of living space, Beachaus II includes three bedrooms, four bathrooms and a large office/studio space that is separate from the living area. Given its LEED Platinum certification, the house is extremely energy efficient with high-performance windows, a tight thermal envelope, HRV air-exchange system and efficient spray foam insulation. Even the yard is efficient with partial irrigation from rainwater collected from the roof.

The house is located less than 650 feet (200 meters) from Semiahmoo Bay, and it’s designed for “smart” modern living. InHaus development is a boutique home developer that creates homes built to “live smart, not large.” The Beachaus homes are built to reflect the homes built along the California coastline and are the first homes in the South Surrey area to be independently LEED certified. Anchored by a solid concrete foundation construction that contrasts with the airy design — including 12-foot ceilings — the Beachaus II is a home that look as good as it feels.
