Bjarke Ingels Teams Up With Freerunners To Explore Urban Architecture

Posted By Bridgette Meinhold On February 8, 2011 @ 12:09 pm In Architecture,Urban design | No Comments

In case you can’t get enough of Bjarke Ingels [2] like us, here’s an amazing video [3] showcasing freerunners bounding off BIG’s green-roofed Mountain Dwellings [4] in Copenhagen. These parkour wonders have a completely different outlook on architecture and use buildings as their playgrounds rather than as shelter or work space. The video serves as a trailer for a larger documentary on freerunners in urban space, and Bjarke Ingels travels with the parkour team around the world exploring new approaches to urban architecture.
