Iglooplay is a homegrown children’s furniture collection based out of Brooklyn, NY. Designer Lisa Albin conceived the company when she had her first baby and realized that there was very little thoughtfully designed children’s furniture on the market. ‘Observing the way her growing toddler played and interacted with shapes, materials and color, she began to develop designs that were engaging to kids and aesthetically pleasing to adults.’ We love the fusion of ergonomic shapes, materials, and playful, inviting colors in Igooplay’s latest Tea Pod Collection. How fabulous that kids can flip the pieces into different positions and the pods can become a stool, side table, bench, ottoman, lounger or play object (they are all foam and have no interior wooden frame).
Snacks can be enjoyed on accompanying trays – ideal for both kid-friendly and adult entertaining. Iglooplay Tea Pod modules can be upholstered in a choice of ultra suede featuring a ‘plush nap’ or ‘Crypton suede’ with an anti-microbial backing for extra durability and stain-resistance – even better Tea Pods are now available in wool and are part-Soy Foam.
