Sucking on flavored air may seem like a weird thing to do, but you can do it while underwater at Mexico’s first submerged oxygen bar. Recently opened in tourist-drenched Cozumel, Clear Lounge invites guests to chill underwater while imbibing an array of aromatherapy scents mixed with oxygen. Aside from the boost from the higher concentration of oxygen, guests can also enjoy oxygen-enriched fruit smoothies at the bar, which promises a good time without a hangover.

Located near the Carnival Cruise Line hub, Clear Lounge is a massive transparent cube packed with 13,000 gallons of water. For $38 for a half hour, guests can partake in underwater Jenga, target practice with bubble guns, a photo booth, and message boards so outsiders can chat with you. The legal age at Clear Lounge is also more lenient than regular bars; kids over the age of eight can dive in to join the underwater fun. Guests stay comfortable in Sea TREK helmet diving technology.

Aside from making yourself a deep sea spectacle, the Clear Lounge is also said to offer up health benefits. Taking in air with a higher oxygen content can be great for your health when in short doses. A blast of oxygen can give a boost of energy and alertness, benefit the immune system, create better concentration and reduce stress. It can also be a great cure for a hangover from an actual bar.
