NEXT GENERATION 2006

by NK

While it seems like only a couple months ago that Metropolis magazine publicized the winners of Next Generation 2005, the call for next year’s submissions has already been announced. The competition was organized in 2003 to discover the “Big Ideas” on the horizon that will provide us with better, more sustainable surroundings, and to encourage social activism through design. This year, winners Joseph Hagerman and Alisa Andrasek utilized new technologies to develop drastically different materials that could change the way we shape our built environment.

Deadline for submissions is December 15, 2005.
