Ecotelhado Colombia is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Bogotá topped with a green rooftop garden. An intensive renovation transformed the roof of the 50-year-old building into a verdant space that reduces the urban heat island effect. The garden was made from 1.6 tons of recycled material from the shoe industry, and it’s capable of retaining 11.5 cubic meters of rainwater.
