Brammo Unveils 100 MPH Electric Motorcycle With 100-Mile Range

What’s not to love about an electric motorcycle [4]? All-electric superbikes [5] are getting more shred-tastic everyday, and they make you look cool for being green — something long overdue! Enter Oregon-based Brammo [6]‘s new Empulse [7], which can hit more than 100 miles per hour and go for 100 miles without a recharge. With a 50-horsepower motor and 59 pound-feet of torque, the Empulse isn’t for the faint of heart.
Brammo’s new Empulse [7] bikes start at $9,995. The 100-mile-range battery upgrade brings the sticker price to $13,995 — but remember you’ll get a 10 percent federal tax credit [9] and, in California, you’ll also get a $1,500 rebate.
Looking cool while being green? Priceless.
