Although Picnic is a fast-food restaurant, it purchases its produce fresh and local everyday and makes all of its food on site. Within its three floors “the vegan McDonald’s” can accomodate up to 120 patrons, but the majority of its customers are stop-in office-people that work nearby.
The interior space is adorned with plenty of cute and quirky pieces. Hanging against big windows you can find eco-lamps made from biodegradable mimbre , and an ivy-covered logo marks its entrance door. Mix-match vintage furniture, organic fabrics with water-based ink patterns, plenty of plants, and low-energy and natural light make Picnic’s interiors as green as their menu. The fast-food restaurant also periodically holds eco-design fairs and organic gardening workshops.
Fast, vegan and delicious, Picnic in central Buenos Aires features great food with a cool sustainable Scandinavian twist.
