Build It Green has kept 450 tons of building materials of out landfills and saved New Yorkers nearly $1 million on purchases. Plus all proceeds go to environmental education programs at Solar 1. + Build It Green NYC

There’s also an amazing paint ‘department’ provided by donations from Benjamin Moore & Co. Tons of color, 5 dollar gallons and 1 dollar quarts. I use the term department loosely, because in the same room you can find old LP’s, 70′s softcore, and a broken aquarium or two..
