Nestled in the backyard of a typical suburban home, this contemporary glass gazebo is a hidden treasure in the San Fernando Valley. Designed by Livia Shi, the dynamic structure makes use of an existing concrete slab, but gets its uniqueness from the steel and glass roof that seems to spread open like the wings of an eagle. Shi points out that the gazebo is a perfect yoga room, with ample daylight spilling through the transparent glass roof.
