Despite being delayed by Hurricane Sandy, our favorite can-tastic event [5] is back in New York City with a slew of gravity-defying sculptures made of cans! The 20th annual Canstruction [6] competition invited designers, makers and architects to turn over 100,000 food cans into amazing sculptures like a suspension model of the Brooklyn Bridge [7], a Converse shoe [8] and (our favorite) this red balloon animal doggie [9].
